REGULAR SHIPPING CHARGE: Our regular shipping charge to the U.S. now ranges from $1 (for orders under $5) to $10 (for orders of more than $100). All standard U.S. orders are shipped via UPS (except orders to P.O. boxes, which go via U.S. Mail). Orders to all other foreign countries ship via surface mail. Please be patient: surface mail to some foreign countries can take up to 3 months. In a Rush? RUSH ORDERS: We can fulfill rush orders to all 50 states within 4 working days of receiving your order. The fee ranges from $4.00 (for a PRIORITY MAIL rush on orders under $10) to $12.50 (for a 2nd DAY UPS rush on orders under $50) to $22.50 (for orders totalling over $100). RUSH - CANADA and MEXICO: Rush orders to our NAFTA-buddy countries range from $1.50 (for an air-mailed single-copy order) to $50 (for any size 2nd day UPS rush). INTERNATIONAL AIRMAIL: To get your order delivered faster to other foreign countries, choose international airmail. Delivery takes 7-21 days, depending on local conditions. The fee ranges from $3 (for orders under $5) to $40 (for orders over $100). RUSH - INTERNATIONAL: Although the fastest way to get your comics overseas is via Expidited UPS, it is very expensive and as a result, we are discontinuing this service except by special arrangement with individual customers. Warning to International Customers Customs officials in several countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom, sometimes break open packages and confiscate (or destroy) materials of which they don't approve. This usually means specifically erotic material (such as Manara, Crepax, the EROS graphic novels), but can also include underground material (Crumb, Spain, etc.). So far as we know, there is no recourse for the customer once this material has been taken. While we sympathize with our customers, Fantagraphics cannot take responsibility for the oppressive practices of other countries. If you live in one of these benighted places, please be aware that you are ordering this material at your own risk; that your order may be jeopardized by nosy customs drones; and that Fantagraphics is not obligated to replace or refund orders that are lost as a result of customs interference. We recommend that customers ordering X-rated material
outside the U.S. keep their orders relatively small ($50 or less)
for two reasons. One, the bigger the package, the more likely customs
officials are to give it a look-through. Two, if it's a small package,
you're risking less if it is seized or destroyed. |
